The Allocator Assistant provides essential support to the allocation team, ensuring the efficient and timely distribution of inventory across various channels (e.g., retail stores, warehouses, and online platforms). This role involves data entry, order processing, inventory tracking, and other administrative tasks related to inventory allocation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Order Processing:
Accurately enter, and process orders received from various channels.
Verify order details for accuracy and completeness.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding order status and any potential issues.
Inventory Management:
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records across all locations.
Monitor inventory levels and identify potential stock outs or overstocks.
Generate reports on inventory movement and usage.
Data Entry and Analysis:
Enter data into inventory management systems and other relevant databases.
Analyze data to identify trends and patterns in inventory demand.
Prepare reports and presentations as required.
Allocation Support:
Assist allocators in developing and implementing allocation plans.
Participate in allocation meetings and provide relevant data and insights.
Monitor allocation performance and identify areas for improvement.
Customer Service:
Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers regarding inventory availability and order status.
Resolve customer issues related to inventory allocation in a timely and professional manner.
Other Duties as Assigned:
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, including administrative tasks and special projects.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required;Associate's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
Experience: 0?2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory management environment preferred
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent data entry and accuracy skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
